Important note: If your radio is in any MODE (band) other than 00000, then sending of these files to your radio will cause it to switch to MODE (band) 00000 and cause a reset of the radio, and your codeplug / configuration will be erased. This is normal behaviour. Please ensure you have saved your codeplug BEFORE sending these files to your radio. You can hex edit the third byte of the .CDD file to match your existing MODE (band) selection to prevent this. Or you could simply accept the reset, and then change the MODE in the test mode screens back to what it was and reload your codeplug / configuration. You can also hex edit the .CDD file to enter details of your radio such as serial number etc. Open the .CDD file in your hex editor to see what goes where. Ensure you only use standard numbers and letters, and do not use any leading or trailing spaces. Any unused space after your text MUST have the hex codes edited to be 00 (zeros). Spaces in between words are fine however.
